We are sorry for not keeping you informed enough. We are now going to be more active and show to the Lindens that we need things to CHANGE TODAY.

What we do and don’t need help with

Just as a little guide, there has been some confusion as to what we do and don’t need help with. So here are the Do’s and Don’t.

Do

Money: Don’t we all need money. Saving TSL will always need money to keep its projects going. We would be very very grateful if you could help us out with this.
Tier: We do need tier. Lots of it. If you can provide us with tier, we would be very grateful.
Ideas: Again, a very important one. If you have an idea, feel free to IM one of the owners. Thankies.
Project Volunteering: We need people to help out in our projects. We are starting up roleplaying communities soon. If you take part in that (its not much work, just enjoy it), then that’d be awesome
Content Creation: We’re starting up a business to fund Saving TSL. If you would be willing to build something small for us, we would be incredibally grateful.
You to be inspired: We need people like you to help TSL too. We can’t do it alone. We need people like you to do things in the grid to help the community. You could help a newcomer, you could build some freebies, you could start a business. Anything that helps the grid, we would love you to do.

Don’t

These are the things we don’t really need your help in. But thanks anyways xD.
Website Help: We don’t need any help with the website. Me and Daniel decided against creating our own HTML website because a lot of the campaign is stored nicely on here. Plus, this blog is quite popular already. Type “things need to improve” into Google and click “I’m Feeling Lucky”. You’ll know why then.
Small bits of land: Sorry but we don’t really need your 16sqm parcel in Nailsworth or your 86sqm parcel in Rainier. But thanks anyway xD
You to be an owner Sorry but we don’t really want you to be an owner of our group. For obvious reasons. xD.

Thank you to all those who have helped out so far. I just wanted to type this up because I’ve heard a lot of confusion as to what YOU can do to help TSL. Thanks again.

New Month, New Dawn

Hello there.

We’re currently working on improving the website at the moment. You’ll find that we have a new logo, a new design and a new domain (www.savingtsl.co.nr). I hope you like em xD

There are going to be heavy improvements to the website. If you have any suggestions, feel free to IM either myself, Amd Karu, or Daniel Voyager.

We have also put the blog usage statistics for September on the Statistics page.

What next?

We spent the last month or two gathering members. Getting the word out. Preparing for a great big huge event. Now the event has happened, what happens next?

Well our campaign is far from over. We are still running through the meeting transcripts, trying to find out different solutions. We are thinking and thinking. I still ask a few members occasionally what they think we should do.

Here are some of the things that are coming in the future:

Online Updates: I plan on improving our awareness on the net. We need people outside of TSL to know whats happening and what we are doing about it. I plan on starting some forums, a YouTube channel and possibly our own Wiki (http://savingtsl.wikispaces.com/)

Newcomer Community: Some of you may know that we are desperate for some money or tier donations. If you have any, they would be much appreciated. This is because we want to buy a parcel of land (a pretty large one) where we can have a newcommer community. There will be a roleplaying section, a mall, some rentable appartments and some freebies

Registration Support Website: We intend on making a website/forum which will help people with their sign up problems.

TSL Object Rating System: We have dismissed this idea.

TSL Stock Exchange: Briley Dezno, Dastyruck Furse and Gradstone Furse all formed a company called DGB. They are creating a new TSL Stock Market. Contact them for more info on that.

A Saving TSL Business?: Some of you may have heard of this possibility. We may start our own business to raise funds for Saving TSL. The business name won’t be Saving TSL.

A notecard and/or video explaining our entire campaign: Working progress

Freebies: If we get some good builders willing to create some quality non-griefing freebies for newcomers, then this will happen, yes.

Protests: Possibly. We may make another group which is for protests.

Getting our own sim: Money donations + Tier donations = our own sim.

Thats about all the solutions we have come up with so far. If you have any others, IM me or Daniel Voyager. Or if there is a post somewhere on here saying the Saving TSL forums are up, then post it there

Thanks to everyone who came to the Saving TSL Gathering Event! The attendence peaked at 24. We discussed a lot of issues and gathered lots of opinions.
